Getting Started

</aside>

The content editor has two types: Book and Single Page. The book is designed for things like playbooks and handbooks to give structure to longer-form content, whereas the single-page style is designed for smaller, single-purpose docs like guides, overviews, policies, workshops, and templates. Neither style have any word count or content limits, so go nuts! (responsibly). Try out both to see which would suit your situation before diving in.

Note that you can copy all your page content into a book style, but you will need to copy each page from the book if you want to switch your content to the single-page format.

Publishing Content

</aside>

At the top of the book and page editors is a Draft / Live switch. This switch controls what content is published to the embedded link. To publish content for embedding onto another site, switch to Live mode, then copy the embed URL and paste it into a site that supports embedded links.

To make changes without affecting the published version, switch back to draft mode, make the changes, then switch back to live to publish your changes. If there are no content changes, switching between modes has no effect on the published version.

Adding content to the marketplace

It’s now easier than ever to add your content to the marketplace. If you’re sitting on some gems that could help others optimise their OS, [connect with me](mailto:[email protected]?subject=Contribute) to get access to the OS contributor feature.

Context

Like many of you, AI simultaneously excites, frightens, concerns, and underwhelms me. While the possibilities of Large Language Models (LLM’s) under the ‘AI’ umbrella are vast, the opportunities for abuse and waste can seem equally endless. In the wrong hands, these tools can be incredibly effective misinformation machines, manipulating social and political perception at an unprecedented scale. On top of this, with AI’s growing dominance, the internet is increasingly flooded with generic, generated garbage that sounds the same.

That said, there are more ethical options in the current crop of AI tools, with Mistral AI being one of rising European leaders.

Mistral AI

Mistral AI is a French startup founded in April 2023 by three researchers: Arthur Mensch, Guillaume Lample, and Timothée Lacroix. Mistral AI is the world’s greenest and leading independent AI lab, outperforming much-larger peers with a significantly smaller footprint.
